Thank you, thank you.  You are awesome!!  I was thrilled to send the message below just now to the Lafayette City Council.  Let’s keep adding signatures - especially of Lafayette residents.

“As of this morning, after just one day, 311 citizens of Lafayette have signed the Petition asking Councilors to NOT annex the land for Lafayette Marketplace. Also signing the Petition were 31 neighboring residents of Louisville, Erie, Boulder and Denver.

The only legal right the developer has is to request annexation. The only sensible way to proceed is to decide the threshold annexation question first before the City’s resources and valuable Staff time are wasted reviewing Sketch Plans/Preliminary plans/final plans and undertaking the many expensive and time consuming studies that would be required if the approval process were to go forward.

Please decide the threshold annexation question now and vote to NOT annex as 311 Lafayette citizens (with more surely to be added) respectfully have requested.
