In light of Jeremy Corbyn’s huge democratic mandate and widespread grassroots support from Labour members, his right to be on the Labour leadership ballot must be honoured in order to ensure a fair, open and democratic leadership contest.

In the event of a vote by Labour’s National Executive Committee - the body which decides the rules of the contest - their decision to automatically have Jeremy on the ballot is essential for party unity and a demonstration of respect for the democratic will of the membership.
