No Digital Billboards in the Santa Clarita Valley

No Digital Billboards in the Santa Clarita Valley
The Issue
The LA County Supervisors and LA METRO must now publicly commit to giving up on bringing electronic billboards to the Santa Clarita Valley. The residents of our city will not take kindly to any further attempts by officials to bring digital billboards back to the SCV.
The City of Santa Clarita recently passed an ordinance to erect 6 large electronic billboards in "Awesometown." 18,000 SCV residents then signed a referendum (in about 30 days) and overturned the ordinance!
Our fair City then spent over $200,000 local tax dollars to resurrect the electronic billboard issue on the November 2014 election ballot as "Measure S." 19,000 SCV residents then voted to defeat Measure S by a +10% margin, sending a resounding message to the city (and county) that the SCV does not want electronic billboards.
City and county officials must publicly commit to having heard this call.
