CALL your County Rep! Most haven't taken a position on Sheriff

We have to additional endorsers! That's great and please continue to tell your friends about this petition http://chng.it/J4RY4TcJ

BUT with the exception of County Sup. Kuehl we're not seeing any statements from the other county reps. Please call and ask what their position is on the sheriff's actions in Venice and also ask that they defund his 'Homeless Outreach Service Team' (HOST) program. Record the calls results here please: https://forms.gle/BdbtGgpXoBsSsLPs7

Also see more talking points from ally organizations here: http://bit.ly/DefundHOST

After about 12 calls the Mayor's office replied that LAPD is not cooperating with LASD and that the emphasis is on housing. Every little action adds up in a big way. Let's keep up the pressure!
