 Coup de théâtre dans le dossier de la zone naturelle du Donderberg à Laeken. La région retire le permis d’urbanisme de 2023 qui avait été suspendu par le conseil d’Etat et introduit un nouveau permis .

Urban relance donc un dossier éminemment politique, cela en pleine période d’affaires courantes du gouvernement bruxellois. Rappelons que le MR et les Engagés, gagnants des élections régionales se sont prononcés contre la construction sur site naturel du Donderberg.

S’il est encore trop tôt pour émettre une opinion sur les implications juridiques de ce changement que nous analyserons lorsque nous aurons été officiellement informés, nous pouvons déjà affirmer que nous devrons déployer de nouveaux efforts juridiques. C’est pourquoi nous appelons tous les sympathisants de la cause du Donderberg à nous soutenir financièrement.

Avec le soutien et l'encadrement de l'ASBL Laeken.Brussels, une collecte de fonds complémentaire à celle du comité Donderberg est organisée. La somme récoltée permettra de soutenir les différentes actions juridiques en cours et à venir. Elle permettra aussi en surplus à contribuer à d'autres actions (support pédagogique, communications, ...). En cas de victoire définitive, les éventuels fonds restants seront donnés à des associations ayant des combats similaires en région bruxelloise.

Een grote tegenslag voor het natuurgebied de Donderberg in Laken! Het Gewest trekt de door de Raad van State opgeschorte stedenbouwkundige vergunning van 2023 in en stelt een nieuwe voor. 

Urban blaast zo een bij uitstek politieke kwestie nieuw leven in, midden in een periode van Brusselse regeringsvorming. We herinneren eraan dat de partijen MR en Les Engagés, de winnaars van de gewestelijke verkiezingen, zich tegen de bouw van het natuurgebied Donderberg hebben uitgesproken. 

Hoewel het nog te vroeg is om ons uit te spreken over de juridische implicaties van deze wijziging, die we zullen analyseren zodra we officieel op de hoogte zijn gebracht, kunnen we nu al zeggen dat we verdere juridische inspanningen zullen moeten leveren. Daarom roepen we alle medestanders van de Donderberg op om ons financieel te steunen.

Met de ondersteuning van de VZW Laken.Brussel organiseren we een fondsenwervingsactie als aanvulling op die van het Donderbergcomité. Het ingezamelde geld zal gebruikt worden om de verschillende lopende en toekomstige juridische acties te ondersteunen. Het zal ook gebruikt worden om bij te dragen aan andere acties (educatieve ondersteuning, communicatie, enz.). In het geval van een definitieve overwinning zal het resterende geld worden geschonken aan verenigingen die een soortgelijke strijd voeren in de Brusselse regio.

 The Donderberg nature reserve in Laeken has suffered a major setback. The region is withdrawing the 2023 permit that had been suspended by the Council of State and is introducing a new permit.

Urban is thus reviving an eminently political issue, in the midst of the Brussels government's current affairs. It should be remembered that the MR and Engagés parties, winners of the regional elections, came out against construction on the Donderberg natural site.

While it is still too early to give an opinion on the legal implications of this change, which we will analyse once we have been officially informed, we can already say that we will have to make further legal efforts. This is why we are appealing to all supporters of the Donderberg cause to support us financially.

With the support of  Laeken.Brussels ASBL, we are organising a fundraising campaign to complement that of the Donderberg Committee. The money raised will be used to support the various legal actions under way and those to come. It will also be used to contribute to other actions (educational support, communications, etc.). In the event of a definitive victory, any remaining funds will be donated to associations fighting similar battles in the Brussels region.
