Assessment notes: Bell was at the front of the kennel when the runner approached. She had a full body wag, open pant, ears were up and tail was loosely wagging. She jumped on the kennel door in excitement and was able to be safely removed from kennel. She walked at the runner's side as she bypassed the barking dogs in kennel. Inside the catch pen, she was hesitant to come greet the dogs but did so slowly and cautiously.

#A5222053 - Bell was at the front of the kennel when the runner approached. She had a full body wag, open pant, ears were up and tail was loosely wagging. She jumped on the kennel door in excitement and was able to be safely removed from kennel. She walked at the runner’s side as she bypassed the barking dogs in kennel. Inside the catch pen, she was hesitant to come greet the dogs but did so slowly and cautiously. She was led into the play yard, where she had her body tucked, tail was tucked and ears were back as the dogs greeted. She tried to explore the yard on her own and kept to herself. She was slow to warm up to the other dogs but after a few minutes, she began to play in spurts. She would run around and allow the other dogs to chase her. She would run and jump up on the handlers and then continue to play. When a few of the dogs tried mounting her, she overcorrected but was easy to steer. She continued to be friendly and socialize with the dogs as she roamed around the yard. Her preferred playstyle is gentle/dainty.

#A5222053 My name is BELL and I'm an approximately 3 year old female Pit Bull. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 9/24. I will be available on 9/24. You can visit me at my temporary home at C101. My former family who owned me for more than a year had to give me up because they did not have enough time to spend with me. But they said that I spend time indoors and outdoors. I seem to be good with small children. I am housetrained. I am good on a leash. I may need obedience class. I seem to get along well with dogs and cats.
