Valiente was at the front of the kennel when the runner approached, with a neutral body, tail and ears were back. He waited patiently making it easy for the runner to place the leash on him. He walked nicely on leash, without pulling but does focus on marking his surroundings. Inside the catch pen, he was wagging his tail and showed eagerness to enter the play yard. Once inside the yard, he was very friendly with the dogs and the handlers. He ran around the yard in excitement and was very playful with all the dogs. He had high energy and can be overwhelming to calmer dogs. He took corrections well from handlers. He played in rough/rowdy playstyle and was social with all the dogs.

#A5200710 My name is VALIENTE and I'm an approximately 5 year old male Pit Bull. I am already neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 7/16. I will be available on 7/22. You can visit me at my temporary home at C325. My former family who owned me for more than a year had to give me up because they did not have enough time to spend with me. But they said that I spend most of my time outdoors, but it's not ideal. I have not been housetrained. I am learning how to walk on a leash. I seem to get along well with dogs.
