My former family who owned me for had to give me up because they just weren't up for the responsibility of a pet. ➡️ PLAYGROUP ASSESSMENT ... Smokey was at the front of his kennel when the runner stopped at his kennel, his body was tense and he had a high fast wag. As the runner stood there, he began to growl low and stared. The runner came to his level and presented the leash at which point his body softened and he had a neutral wag to his tail. He began to anxiously jump up on the kennel door and whined. The runner attempted to place the leash on the dog, where he first began to nibble at the leash, he was safely removed. He walked pulling slightly. Inside the catch pen, he was not interested in greeting the dogs at the fence but rather began to explore. He was muzzled prior to his entry into the play yard because of previous behavior. Once he came inside, he stood still allowing the dogs to greet him, he had a high tail and stiff body. After being able to communicate with the other dogs, he walked away and explored the yard on his own.
