Depp –v- News Group Newspapers Ltd and another

This is an application for permission to appeal by the Claimant, against the order made by Mr Justice Nicol dated 16 November 2020 dismissing the Claimant’s claim against the Defendants.

The Judge held that the Defendants had proved that the defamatory allegations they published about the Claimant acting violently towards his ex-wife Amber Heard were substantially true.
