Managed Intake at Riverside Animal Pounds started a couple years before it started here in Los Angeles County. Residents in Riverside report the new management intake system is a HUGE FAILURE. Sadly, one of the previous management staff who worked at Riverside was fired and then hired by Director Marcia Mayeda here in our Los Angeles County Animal Control. In my opinion and in the opinion of more than 18,000 Riverside enthusiasts, he ruined their shelters and is now implementing many of those same failured procedures in our Animal Pounds.

And please read the animal ID’s (those were attached to living, breathing, sentient beings)... stop and look at the faces of the dogs who were slaughtered in just the last couple days.
