Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control remains closed but allows appointments to preview animals. Rumor has it that some of the facilities are allowing SAME DAY appointments but this has not be verified. 

https://spcala.com did a trial opening for the public this week of 4 hours but remain closed(per phone interview and their phone recording). They are requiring that you fill out an entire adoption form BEFORE coming to the facility. They are requiring you ADOPT FIRST. INSANE!
