In an email to the Huffington Post, Wayne County Prosector’s Office spokeswoman Maria Miller said the case would not be reopened. “The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office conducted an extensive independent investigation of the facts and circumstances surrounding the death of Adaisha Miller and concluded that the evidence would not support charging the off-duty police officer,” Maria Miller said. “We do not plan to re-open the case.”
