Ban Dr Harry Cooper from future Animal Expo Events

Ban Dr Harry Cooper from future Animal Expo Events
The issue
Over the weekend 25/04 - 27/04 Dr Harry Cooper performed a number of presentations in front of hundreds of Adelaide residents at the 2014 Animal Expo.
In his presentations he was discouraging people from supporting rescue organisations as he believes the dogs have behavioural issues that may not be reversible - making particular reference to dogs biting and barking. Instead he encouraged people to buy puppies - highlighting the preference of purchase from pet stores.
As an experienced vet and a very popular television celebrity Dr Harry has discounted the value of rescue organisations whilst supporting the appalling treatment of dogs in puppy factories - and also displayed breed specific biases by promoting certain breeds over others.
The exhibitors and spectators from the 2014 Adelaide Animal Expo are calling upon Kym Jones Ehibitions and Events to ban the return of Dr Harry Cooper in 2015 and encourage them to employ the skills of an experienced animal behaviouralist or veterinarian for future events.
