Symbol of Recognition and appreciation of Expats in Kuwait, Past and Present.

Symbol of Recognition and appreciation of Expats in Kuwait, Past and Present.
The Issue
I believe there is no symbol of appreciation to the Expat citizens and community in Kuwait for their historically significant input, effort and work towards their second and sometimes first country of Kuwait.
I call for the National Assembly, Members of Parliament, and Fellow Kuwaiti citizens to establish an annual Expat Day holiday to celebrate the historical input of our fellow citizens and raise awareness to their needs and plights.
There Should be a symbol for future generations the young and the old to remind them of the work of our partners and fellow citizens and pay due respect.
With every passing year, life for expats is becoming increasingly difficult, food rent and other prices are through the roof and the respective salaries aren't following.
Many expats in Kuwait, who have helped Kuwait develop to the country of today, especially expat citizens who have lived their whole life and known only Kuwait, are slowly being forced out through financial constraints, or bureaucratic measures and laws not permitting them residency, in the only country most of them know and call home.
In addition to this the respect given to the expat communities is full of double standards, depending on which continent you are from,
Expats of all cultures races and religions have built Kuwait standing shoulder to shoulder with all Kuwaitis, regardless of the labor, be it business owner, construction, nannies, Garbage men, drivers managers and so on all across the workforce they have always been there for us and their country working diligently.
This petition will be the first of few to recognize the efforts of expat citizens in Kuwait and show appreciation to them in addition to shedding light on their situations with a view towards changing archaic residency laws and increase awareness to help ease their stay in their country Kuwait.
