Good Day, Powder Springs,

Our community continues to grow and change. We may not all agree with the changes, but it is what it is.

Our local Kroger on Brownsville Road has installed COAM/Gambling machines.

It is documented that COAM machines attract crime. The GBI has stepped in to enforce regulations here in GA.

Local gas stations (many with clerks behind bullet proof partitions) have these machines. Many of these stations have other issues happening around their locations.  Powder Springs / Cobb Police can provide crime reports. 

Kroger's profit in 2024 was over $33 Billion.  Adding these COAM machines is not helping our community.

Kroger is taking advantage of people who have gambling addictions for profit.
