Hello wonderful supporters of the petition for Bega Valley Shire Council to declare a climate emergency.

The petition is going great, but as we now have 1 week until is presented to council to support a motion for climate action it is ever so important to re-share, tell friends about it and maybe even strangers if you're feeling brave!

The petition is aimed to hopefully reach 5000 by Tuesday the 27th of August, just in time to present it to the council meeting on Wednesday the 28th of August.

For moral support and solidarity I ask you to consider attending the meeting which goes from 2pm onward at the Council, which is located at Zingel Place, Bega, NSW, 2550.

Until then it is most important to give the Councillors and Mayor space to breathe (meaning no harassment, badgering or aggression) so they are more inclined to make a calm, unbiased decision.  

if you are more interested to be a part of the Council meeting on the 28th of August and would like to have more of an input please reply and I will give you more details!
