Bring Gluten-free Kraft Dinner to Canada!

The Issue

Watch my gluten-free Kraft Dinner petition video.

MY MISSION: Bring Kraft's delicious gluten-free Kraft "Macaroni & Cheese" to Canada. (As gluten-free Kraft Dinner, of course!)

WHY?

Kraft Dinner is a Canadian tradition! It's the unofficial official food of Canada. According to Wikipedia, Canadians eat 55% more KD than Americans and it's the most popular grocery item in the country.

On a personal note: KD has been there for me throughout my entire life. It was my favourite food from the ages of 5-7. It got me through long nights of studying at university. It was the best late night snack after a night out. If a restaurant had it on the menu as a side, it would be my first choice—OVER FRIES, PEOPLE—and that's saying a lot.

BUT. That all changed when I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2016. Suddenly, my favourite comfort food was off-limits.

DEAR KRAFT: I know that the gluten-free Macaroni & Cheese is a fairly new product, but what are you waiting for? If we eat KD more than Americans, why haven't you brought it here yet?

There are hundreds of thousands of people who don't—or can't eat gluten. For many of us, it's a lifelong dietary restriction... not a trend. (Hi from the celiac disease community!)

You want lifelong repeat customers? We celiac/gluten-free people are ready and waiting.

TLDR: Bring gluten-free KD to Canada! We get delicious goodness in a box, you get money! Win-win!
