The Korea Media Rating board has implemented a new policy that could hurt international fans and the Hallyu Wave.

Starting on August 18th, all music videos and teaser videos that are produced by any entertainment company must be first screened by the Korean Media Rating Board before being uploaded onto YouTube or any other portal sites on the internet.

The Korean Media Rating Board will take anywhere from 7 to 10 days to reach a conclusion after a request for evaluation has been made, however, by law they cannot take more than 14 days.

The reason given for implementing this policy is to protect the youth of Korea. This does not make much sense since Koreans can access any video around the world via Youtube, therefore the law is completely useless. Not only is it useless but it hurts international fans, whose main source of kpop is through the internet.
