Trif Gaming started this petition to Konami

To whom it may concern,

I am Steven J. Trifunoski and I am currently speaking on behalf of all Yu-Gi-Oh! players that cared enough to sign this petition. This petition will serve to communicate the need for the unbanning of Heavymetalfoes Electrumite in the TCG.

This card single-handedly enables the entire pendulum mechanic, a mechanic loved by so many players around the world. Prior to its ban in TCG competitive play, Pendulum decks as a whole have lacked representation in the competitive scene, topping little to no YCS's and other major events. Both Heavymetalfoes Electrumite and Astrograph Sorcerer are limited in the OCG and pendulums STILL have little to no success in competitive play.

Furthermore, the unbanning of Heavymetalfoes Electrumite would encourage players to purchase any new set that includes support for any pendulum deck. A great example of this is the upcoming Doremichord Archetype. The unbanning of Heavymetalfoes Electrumite would cause a DIRECT impact on the success of not just the archetype, but the set as a whole. The same premise applies for every upcoming pendulum-related set.

Lastly, I would like to mention the unfair treatment the entire pendulum mechanic has received over the last few years. Astrograph Sorcerer, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker, Performapal Monkeyboard, Performage Plushfire, Majespecter Unicorn - Kirin, Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom, Servant of Endymion, Double Iris Magician, Draco Face-Off. Not a single mechanic in Yu-Gi-Oh! has been remotely this affected from the banlist. Every card that has the potential to pull this mechanic back into contention has been limited in some form of way. The unbanning of Heavymetalfoes Electrumite will not only boost player happiness, a healthy meta, product sales, but will also be the right thing to do. It is a win-win for both parties.

Limiting Heavymetalfoes Electrumite is the right thing to do, and will be a much needed breath of fresh air for the game that we all love and cherish. Sign Today. Thank you.
