Keep Link Summons and the new rules out of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG

On February 17th, 2017 Konami Digital Entertainment unveiled a new summoning mechanic as well as new rules for the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm making this petition because I feel that some of the new rules are very unhealthy for the game as a whole. The new summoning mechanic is called "Link" summoning and new rules also come along with the new mechanic. Here is a good explanation on how the new Link summon mechanic will affect the game.

There are 2 new monster zones, if there is no link monster in either zone, you can summon a monster from your extra deck to 1 and only 1 of those zones. Link monsters have arrows on them indicating what zones can have monsters that are specialed from the extra deck.
Arrows can point to either players side, and if the zone that has an arrow pointing to it is occupied then you can't special from the extra deck to that zone.
Long story short, you can only have 1 monster specialed from the extra deck at a time, unless you summon a link monster, then you can have more depending on the monster.
So unless you don't use the extra, or only summon 1 monster from the extra at a time, you have to invest a a bunch of cards for no reason.

You are now punished for using an extra deck, almost all combos are now un playable, playing offensively doesn't reap rewards, anything not using an extra deck has an advantage.

There is little benefit and major drawbacks to the new mechanics.

These new mechanics also hurt rouge/older decks because they are forced to invest more resources to make sub optimal plays when they don't even have the cards to invest in the first place.

This new mechanic also forces players to play link monsters to even have a chance at winning. I don't believe that it's fair to force an entire player base to buy these new link monsters in order to play their deck to it's full potential.
