For years I have been told that I can't dress a certain way because it's not a good image for the school. Females in my school get dress coded way too often because their body type prevents them from wearing certain clothes. 

For example, I am tall for my age (5'9"), so clothes that are made for people of my age don't fit me right. Shorts are above mid-thigh because I have long legs, making it harder for me to find shorts that I am comfortable and confident in without breaking the dress code. I deserve the right to wear what I want.

In addition, just because you give us the freedom to wear what we want doesn't mean that all of us are just going to dress like a slut. I want the right to wear a tank top in August because it's hot. I want the right to dress comfortably in what I feel confident in. If a boy looks at our shoulders they're not turned on and if they are then that shouldn't be our fault which means their parents should teach them better. We shouldn't have to hide our bodies because a man doesn't know how to respect it.
