Wynette Ave, Upper Ferntree Gully remains a gravel surface despite the local and surrounding streets all being paved. The street and its conditions year round cause severe damage to cars, during the wet seasons gravel runs down the steep driveways clogging drains and causing floods and damages to the many houses on the lower side. Pot holes are a constant problem leaving the street almsot undriveable. The council sends contractors to level out the road occasionaly, the result is shocking. Of late the stones used to level the road have been large rocks, sand has been used to fill the holes which lasts a week at most and the machine they use creates a barrier outside the drivways making it difficult to exit or enter without scraping the underside of our cars, furthermore the cost for the grading over a year far exceeds the one off cost it would take to simply pave the road.  Currently my brother has a spinal injury and cannot leave the house as driving on the road causes him excruciating pain, this has a severe inpact on our family and on my brothers mental and physical well being. Wynette Ave needs to be a paved surface this cannot be ignored by Knox Council anymore, please sign this petition in hopes to achieve our goal.
