KNOW FIMFO: We are a group of citizens from the Town of Highland, NY.  We are concerned about the safety of our river and our roads. We are dedicated to educating the public about the risks of 'Camp FIMFO' a dangerous over-development in the Upper Delaware Corridor. Help us save the Delaware River, and our way of life.  

We are opposed to the current plans for Northgate Corporation's proposed 'Camp FIMFO', a national RV resort and Water Theme Park with water slides, swimming pools and a mountain coaster on Route 97 near Barryville NY, all to be built on a known flood zone dangerously close to the Delaware River. 

We believe Camp FIMFO is too large of a development for the Upper Delaware corridor, and will potentially result in the contamination of our water, deterioration of the river, destruction of wildlife, and disturbance of habitats for the American eagle, brook trout, Monarch butterflies and more.

We also believe that Camp FIMFO will result in an undue tax burden for the good people of Highland when Northgate receives the 10 year tax abatement it is seeking.
