More than 3.6million people who are employed in the travel, hospitality and tourism industry in Malaysia have seen their lives and livelihood impacted by the various movement control orders and lockdowns in the country.

In solidarity with our industry friends, OYO Malaysia calls on the Government of Malaysia to prioritise vaccination for ALL frontliners across all branches of tourism, hospitality and travel and not only those serving in essential services during MCO 3.0. 

We are concerned that any delays to the vaccination programme for tourism, travel and hospitality frontliners will not only threaten the industry’s survivability, but also impact the livelihoods of everyone employed in it; many of whom are already having difficulty making ends meet. 

Together, let's ensure all frontliners in tourism, hospitality and travel are vaccinated and their livelihoods protected.
