Some of you will have heard - we got the dreaded visit from by-law today. We knew it was coming - our new neighbours don't like us (they want quiet and we have five kids) and it's all over the papers now that hens are illegal. That being said - I don't regret it. I will miss our girls, but I'm tired of living in fear. I'm tired of constantly worrying about what might happen. It is time for us all to stand up and be counted! Let the city know how you feel about urban hens by contacting your councilor and telling them (the link is below)!
