WIR HABEN GUTE NACHRICHTEN UND BRAUCHEN DENNOCH WEITER UNTERSTÜTZUNG!
Unsere Kita Lillebror hat zwei Orte gefunden, an dem unsere Kinder weiter betreut werden können. Es wurden Kita-Räume in Neukölln gefunden, in denen allerdings nur 25 Kinder Platz haben. Dazu wurde ein wunderschöner großer Standort in Berlin Mariendorf gefunden - welcher langfristig den Standort der Machonstr. ersetzen soll. Da diese neuen Räumlichkeiten jedoch noch Umbaumaßnahmen von ca. 2 Jahren erfordern, muss zunächst eine Übergangslösung her. Heißt: Unsere Kinder werden ab August in schönen Kita-Containern auf dem Gelände des Marienparks in Berlin Mariendorf untergebracht. Hiermit kann sowohl das Personal erhalten werden, als auch allen “Lillebror-Familien” eine weitere Betreuung durch dieses großartige Team ermöglicht werden!
Für diese Übergangslösung brauchen wir Eure Unterstützung: Da unsere Kinder es dort schön haben sollen, brauchen wir Gelder um den Garten zu gestalten! Es soll ein Sandkasten, ein Klettergerüst, Wasserspielgeräte und noch vieles mehr her, um die Entwicklung unserer Kinder für die Übergangszeit optimal zu unterstützen. Sollte jemand Ideen haben, ob es Firmen gibt, die unsere Kita unterstützen können, ggf. mit Spenden für eine Solaranlage oder Ähnliches, freuen wir uns sehr über Hinweise und Kontakte!
Wir finden den Elan und die Visionsfähigkeit unseres Kitaträgers und -Leitung enorm und sind begeistert, dass innerhalb von nur 7 Monaten eine Lösung mit so viel Potential gefunden werden konnte! Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bei nobiwerk und der Kitaleitung bedanken! Dass ihr es geschafft habt, die Energie zu finden, das alles auf die Beine zu stellen, obwohl die Montessori Stiftung Berlin Euer Lebenswerk bedroht hat. Danke, dass ihr nicht aufgegeben habt und für Eure tollen MitarbeiterInnen und unsere Kinder gekämpft habt! Langfristig werden somit sowohl in Mariendorf als auch in Neukölln wunderbare Bildungseinrichtungen für Berliner Kinder entstehen!
Leider ist es so, dass unsere Kita zunächst auf die zwei Standorte (KitaContainer und Neukölln) aufgeteilt werden muss und somit das Personal, aber auch die Kinder getrennt werden bis in zwei Jahren die Umbaumaßnahmen in Mariendorf fertiggestellt sind und die Gruppen wieder zusammenziehen können. Auch gibt es viele Familien, die durch die neuen Standorte wesentlich längere Fahrtwege zu bewerkstelligen haben. Durch den angespannten Berliner Mietmarkt war dies die einzige Lösung, um das Ende der Kita Lillebror zu verhindern. Und dies alles nur, weil sich die Montessori Stiftung Berlin in allen Bereichen zu keinem Kompromiss bereit gezeigt hat. Alle unsere Versuche, aber auch die von nobiwerk, in den Dialog zu kommen sind gescheitert und blieben unbeantwortet. Schade, dass es möglich ist, dass eine Stiftung damit durchkommen kann, sich so entgegen ihrer eigenen Ideale zu verhalten und somit vielen Menschen über Monate Sorgen und bange Stunden bereitet hat.
Aber wir möchten nun nach vorne schauen und uns darauf konzentrieren, die Kita-Container so schön wie möglich zu gestalten!

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS, BUT WE STILL NEED MORE SUPPORT!
Our Lillebror daycare center has found two places where our children can continue to be cared for. Daycare rooms have been found in Neukölln, but they only have space for 25 children. In addition, a wonderful large location was found in Berlin Mariendorf - which is to replace the Machonstr. location in the long term. However, as these new premises still require conversion work lasting around 2 years, a temporary solution must have been found. This means that from August 2024 on, our children will be accommodated in beautiful daycare containers on the grounds of Marienpark in Berlin Mariendorf. This will allow nobiwerk to retain the staff and enable all "Lillebror families" to continue to be cared for by this great team!
We need your support for this temporary solution: as we want our children to have a nice time there, we need funds to design the garden! We need a sandpit, a climbing frame, water play equipment and much more to optimally support the development of our children during the transition period. If anyone has any ideas as to whether there are companies that could support our daycare center, possibly with donations for a solar system or similar, we would be very happy to hear from you.
We find the drive and vision of our daycare provider and management enormous and are thrilled that a solution with so much potential could be found within just 7 months! We would like to say a big thank you to nobiwerk and the daycare center management! That you managed to find the energy to get everything up and running, even though the Montessori Foundation Berlin was threatening your life's work is extraordinary. Thank you for not giving up and for fighting for your great staff and our children! In the long term, wonderful educational facilities for Berlin children will be created in both Mariendorf and Neukölln!
Unfortunately, our daycare center will initially have to be split between the two locations (KitaContainer and Neukölln), which means that the staff and children will be separated until the renovation work in Mariendorf is completed in two years' time and the groups can move back together. There are also many families who will have to travel much longer distances due to the new locations. Due to the tight rental market in Berlin, this was the only solution to prevent the end of the Lillebror daycare center. And all this only because the Montessori Foundation Berlin was not prepared to compromise in any area. All our attempts, as well as those of nobiwerk, to enter into a dialog have failed and remained unanswered. It is a shame that it is possible for a foundation to get away with behaving so contrary to its own ideals, causing many people worry and anxiety for months.
But now we want to look to the future and concentrate on making the daycare containers as beautiful as possible!
