Preserve our historic village

We the undersigned wish to state that our village, Oakley, which has already grown by over 1000% since Basingstoke commenced expansion, must not take any further housing.  Oakley, with its beautiful conservation area, has retained its character as a village, but further growth will make this impossible to sustain. 

The village’s infrastructure is already inadequate and further growth will destroy our community.
