The Adultery Law across the United States should be a punishable offense leading up to a minimum of 1 year imprisonment. Adultery is a crime that not only effects the life of a faithful, loyal spouse but also the children involved in the marriage. This is a criminal act and should be treated as such. Adultery is the number one leading cause in divorce across the U.S and also results in crimes of passion. Lets not make it so easy for a spouse to seek comfort in another! They should be held accountable for their actions.
