Sometimes it is not so Complicated!

Hi friends and child protectors,

In signing this petition you have indicated that you are a child protector, that you oppose systemic sexual abuse of children in our schools by the authorities over them, that you are not content with the way the district has handled this 50 year long tradition of sexual abuse and cover up, that you want to see perpetrators held accountable and that there should be no sexual abuse perpetrators working in this district now or in the future. It is JUST THAT SIMPLE! 

If the reference to the removal of Mike Havener is a tripping point, understand that he has been named as an abuser by many witnesses and survivors to the independent investigators hired by the school. This is a fact he will not contest, nor will anyone with knowledge of that report. It is true. If it was not true be assured that I would have cease and desist letters in my inbox, that a defamation law suit might have been filed against me, and that several others, likewise would be pursued by legal means in various ways. The superintendent has not denied this fact. The Board has not denied this fact. They all know it is true. 

Whether or not he will ever stand trial is a completely different issue. Frankly, I doubt it. But we CAN petition for what we want, this is OUR right, it is legal and IT IS SIMPLE!
