"The good Germans"

Tolerance of systemic sexual abuse of children is a social sickness, a disorder of the large body of humans that will not rise to act against this. The same people will not rise against violence against women and children wherever it happens, nor against war and its horrors and crimes against humanity.
On this topic the district is full of lies, evasions, propaganda, coercion, it honors those who use their positions for harm as well as for good and who know they do and still accept the honors and celebrity, two faced persons who should not be near children.  
It is extremely difficult to know these things and to continue living in such a place, but there are no borders for these things. The survivors/truth tellers are brave and you are good people who were deeply harmed by this social disorder and its crimes, the violence and the silence. In speaking out they and the the allies, refuse to do what so many others choose to do: tolerate this horror show.
Like the "good Germans" who watched as Hitler rose in power and shouted his lies about the glories of Germany while he vilified Jews, gypsies, the mentally ill, the hands-capped, immigrants, etc., many people wash their hands of what they could be acting to prevent. In turning their heads the other way, their ignorance is willful. The Nazis don't appear from thin air...they appear in a culture that will tolerate them and at least, half believes the lies and at least, is willing to sacrifice some "others" as long as they are not affected. In Kirkwood, children and survivors are "the others." Silence becomes violence.
