Unclassified residential road, designed to distribute local housing traffic, with multiple large scale housing developments being approved within Botley/neighbouring parish councils, Kings copse ave has become a traffic corridor to M27 junction 8, with increased road traffic passed the roads design intent. The road noise and pollution has become hazardous, with all of the roundabouts now becoming dangerous for local residents, speedwatch and SID data have confirmed that speeding is a major concern especially now school crossing patrols have been reduced and safety signs are obscured from drivers view or missing. Botley parish council & Hampshire highways need to conduct a full road safety survey with the intent on reducing the road speed to 30 mph.
