Kingfisher Has closed the doors for roaming around the stores but still offering click & collect, stores are still full off staff. This petition is not just for Kingfisher but all unnecessary stores being open including The Range, Pound shop stores. We have small local businesses that are still open by their choice, no one is being forced to work until they show symptoms which is just too late and not good enough! Support your small hardware shops, butchers etc. Large stores do not need to be open. 

B&Q and many other stores are keeping their doors open during Covid 19. Hundreds of people are still flooding to these stores, car parks are packed, people are queuing around the buildings causing large gatherings without even meaning to but unfortunately people are still not listening. Kingfisher is risking their workers health & lives and their families at home. Some of their workers live with people at higher risk of catching the virus and spreading it to even more people. These people are Mums, dads, sons, daughter, aunties, uncles they are loved ones and deserve to be safe too!

THIS WILL NOT STOP UNTIL WE STOP

These stores are not completely essential I do believe they have ways of supplying equipment that may be needed for MAJOR/EMERGENCY home repairs. But keeping their doors open is just causing a breading ground for Covid 19.

Kingfisher has shut Spain and Frances stores but not the UK stores. The stores will clearly be making mass profits from other places being closed, they also own Screwfix that offers services with less contact.

Essentials for emergency repairs should be available but having a store full off staff and people is not the way to do this. 
Your actions do not justify your words telling people to keep safe.

B&Q offer delivery, this should be inforced to help people who do need the essentials for home repairs. Reducing risk they are putting on their workers & loved ones. 

B&Q Are not the only stores not closing their doors, places such as doobies & the range still remain open! Please stop risking people lives for non essential products.
