The Phantom is an ordinary man who only occasionally delves into the supernatural, so he's unlikely to consult a numerologist. But even the Ghost Who Walks would start the jungle drums about this.

Some numbers are just iconic:

• In England, Number 10 is where the Prime Minister lives
• In cricket folklore, 99.94 is Don Bradman's batting average
• 3.14159 is pi
• In America: "we're number 1, we're number 1"
• And among generations of Phantom phandom, #330 is immediately recognisable as the FREW comic issue that was due for publication in 1968 but was somehow not released; their comic run read 328, 329, 331, 332...

Until January 2019 when, after a wait of 51 years, FREW finally released the comic that never had been - #330.

So tonight when we checked the petition dashboard and saw that exactly 330 of you had signed, it was an omen. Why?

Because the Billy Zane Phantom sequel is the movie that was somehow not released. But FREW #330 proves that it can happen - we just need to get behind it. We’ve already waited 23 years! None of us, least of all Billy Zane, wants to get to 51!

We’ve loved the uptake but this needs to go further and wider - please share the petition again and really get this movement cranking!

It really is well and truly time for a new Phantom movie!
