Those memories remain etched in my heart, all the milestones lost due to my inadequacy selfishness codependency or having to miss out for being locked up out of milestones and holidays that have missed I can never regain I'm just trying to become a human that my children are NOT embarrassed of anymore I just don't want to be strangers with the two children I have I keep reaching out and I'll never stop with the hopes of one day they'll be proud of me especially as the holidays loom, bringing a sense of loneliness and despair, memory Lane is a lonely road...

In my hometown of Rockwood, Tennessee, the homelessness crisis is dire, with many individuals facing not only the loss of shelter, but also battling codependency and co-occurring disorders such as addiction.
