KinderBeauty.com You Are Supporting Animal Cruelty (Declawing) By Supporting The ASPCA.

The Issue

Please send a polite note to Kinder Beauty Box and ask them to PAUSE their new donation campaign to the ASPCA until they completely condemn declawing and help us ban it. Let Kinder Beauty know that the ASPCA does not want declawing banned because they say in rare cases, it might save a cat's life. Let them know that the ASPCA's declawing position is being used by declawing vets and their associations to stop the anti-declawing legislation.

Yep. the ASPCA is empowering declawing vets to continue profiting from this animal cruelty.

Here's their contact form. https://kinderbeauty.com/pages/customer-help

Kinder Beauty very proud to support the ASPCA to help animals.

The question is does Kinder Beauty care more about selling beauty boxes and getting accolades for donating to the ASPCA or do they really care about the welfare of innocent animals and now that they know better, they will voice their concerns with the ASPCA about this very important animal welfare issue. Here's their page about how they support the ASPCA. Does Kinder Beauty like cats?

If a company was donating to a foster care company and they found out that the company condones child abuse on rare occasions as long as it gets a child in a home. Can you imagine that company ignoring this issue and continuing to donate to them?

Dear Andrew Bernstein, Evanna Lynch, and Daniella Monet with Kinder Beauty,

Your company is one of the ASPCA's new partners and your money is being used by an organization that doesn't want animal cruelty (declawing) banned.

We know that you mean well and want to help animals. So do we but this is a very serious issue regarding animal welfare and cruelty with the ASPCA.

The ASPCA's declawing position statement is being used by declawing veterinarians and their associations to stop the anti-declawing bills. In other words the ASPCA is helping declawing vets and their companies to keep profiting from this barbaric cruelty. Here's the proof. The ASPCA is helping declawing vets make more money from declawing

They ultimately condone this animal cruelty for the death or declaw excuse and say that declawing can save lives.

"Legislation to make declawing illegal, while well-intentioned, can be problematic, because, in rare cases, the procedure may be justifiable as a last resort to prevent euthanasia." ASPCA.

The data show that the ASPCA is wrong about their position statement on declawing

Real. Hard. Data. Here's our story about the ASPCA and declawing. The ASPCA and Declawing

Why does the ASPCA choose to ignore the facts?

Kinder Beauty, you are complicit in supporting animal cruelty by supporting the ASPCA.

The reason that the ASPCA doesn't have to listen to anyone is because they receive millions of dollars from companies like you.

If you speak up, the ASPCA will listen.

We ask you KinderBeauty to stop donating to the ASPCA unless they completely condemn declawing and support legislation to ban it.

By doing so, you will help protect the interest of cats instead of protecting the interest of declawing veterinarians.

There are many other animal welfare organizations who put the welfare of all innocent animals first and who truly want to protect all of them from cruelty.

Declawing veterinarians and the Veterinary Medical Associations are using the ASPCA's declawing position to help stop the anti-declawing bills and this should concern you Kinder.

Here's the March 23, 2022 testimony from the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association's lobbyist, Susie Stevens, who used the ASPCA's declawing position statement to oppose the bill. AzVMA uses the ASPCA's declawing position to oppose the bill. ASPCA helped stop the 2022 AZ anti-declawing bill

Here's the video of a declawing vet using the ASPCA's declawing position statement to stop an anti-declawing ordinance in his town. (At the 2.30 minute mark and 8.30 minute mark.) AAHA declawing vet uses the ASPCA's position statement

The ASPCA keeps changing the reason they condone declawing in their declawing position statement. WHY? Who is guiding them to be on the side of declawing veterinarians over the side of innocent cats?

In 2015 the ASPCA said the only reason declawing could be condoned would be if the cat owner had a compromised immune system or illness.

In 2016 the ASPCA changed their position statement and said they "do not consider the potential for exposure to zoonotic diseases from cat scratches (including in households with immune compromised people) a valid justification for declawing a resident cat."

Then the ASPCA made up a new excuse and said declawing may be justifiable if all the behavioral and environmental alternatives have been fully explored, have proven to be ineffective, and the cat is at grave risk of euthanasia.

This is what the ASPCA says in their current position statement that was last updated in 2017, "The ASPCA is strongly opposed to declawing cats for the convenience of their owners or to prevent damage to household property. The only circumstances in which the procedure should be considered are those in which all behavioral and environmental alternatives have been fully explored, have proven to be ineffective, and the cat is at grave risk of euthanasia." and "Legislation to make declawing illegal, while well-intentioned, can be problematic, because, in rare cases, the procedure may be justifiable as a last resort to prevent euthanasia. There is also no meaningful way to enforce a law that includes this exception." ASPCA's Declawing Position Statement

The ASPCA values the millions of dollars their partners give them.

Please ask the ASPCA if they are confused.

They say they do not support a surgical procedure like declawing yet they condone it for the death/declaw excuse.

In their "Surgical Procedures for Resolving Undesirable Behavior" they say, "The ASPCA does not support the use of surgical procedures that attempt to circumvent the behavioral issue while exposing pets to unnecessary discomfort and risk."

They say, "The only circumstances in which the procedure should be considered are those in which all behavioral and environmental alternatives have been fully explored, have proven to be ineffective, and the cat is at grave risk of euthanasia" in their destructive scratching section.

Declawing is the amputation of a cat's last toe bone. It is performed routinely in veterinary practices across the country.

Thousands of declawed cats are thrown away because of the behavioral issues they develop from being declawed and many are euthanized because of they can't find new homes.

DECLAWING CAUSES THOUSANDS OF CATS EACH YEAR TO BE THROWN AWAY OR RELINQUISHED TO SHELTERS. MANY OF THOSE CATS ARE KILLED BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIND NEW HOMES BECAUSE OF THE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES THEY DEVELOPED FROM THE PAIN AND DISCOMFORT IN THEIR MUTILATED PAWS.

Kinder Beauty, if you are going to continue to support the ASPCA then you should help all the declawed cats in shelters and rescues with behavioral issues,  find a new home.

Declawing is inhumane, cruel, mutilating, and harmful to the long term health and well-being of a cat or kitten.

It is animal cruelty!

Cats deserve better and you should inspire the ASPCA to completely condemn this cruelty and torture that's being done to innocent and healthy cats.

Kinder Beauty it's time for you to do the right thing and take a stand against this animal cruelty and support animal welfare organizations who truly care about the welfare of all animals.

We will celebrate your bravery in leading the way to a better world for cats.
