In your National Assembly Speech, you speak of the pride you have in your country and your economic growth as a nation. You highlight, in great length, your country's  labor laws, the labor market and the need for reform.  An illegal sector of your labor industry is in dire need of eradication. Therefore, in alignment with your vision for an advanced and evolved South Korea,  I kindly ask you to please stand strong and resolute against the barbaric and illegal dog meat industry pervading your country.

This heinous practice has caught the attention of millions of people around the world, shedding a profoundly negative and damaging light on South Korea. Your government has done absolutely nothing to stop this trade, which is the source of immense suffering and unbearable torture to animals. The world community is shocked to find out about what is happening, and are demanding that your government step in, take accountability and decisive action against these atrocities.

You have the power and the platform to create positive change in your country and in doing so, setting a powerful example for the rest of the world. Please, with our most sincerest request, step up and help stop the illegal dog and cat meat trade in South Korea. We and the world with us will not stop until this horrible industry has ended.
