Request that the Killingly town council put Paul Hopkins on administrative leave pending immediate independent investigation into sexual harassment accusations.  The Killingly town council voted unanimously to appoint Paul Hopkins as interim town manager on Monday 8/13/18. Hopkins is replacing Hendrix after he resigned. Hendricks resigned, in part due to accusations of sexual harassment perpetrated by Hopkins, and the lack of a thorough and immediate investigation by town manager Hendricks. It is shameful that the town council has decided to promote a man that has been accused of sexual harassment without any investigation. The council has voted to settle with the victim and pay out a undisclosed amount to the victim, and yet still has not called for an independent investigation.
