Killing people in a car crash should carry more time
The Issue
Tyler Johnson was taken from this world 2/10/2024 by Amanda Vanbuskirk of Richlands NC.She crossed the center line hitting Tyler head on.. Amanda Vanbuskirk never hit her brakes. The accident report said she had Zero tire impressions. Which h then confirms her not hitting her brakes. Even after impact she went 70 feet. And still zero tire impressions. Tyler had 58 in the small are she.killed him. His black box, per State Highway, said he lowered his speed and moved slightly off the rd to prevent. Tyler was killed instantly. Leaving us devastated. Broken. . He was a Detention Officer in Onslow County NC. He aspired to be a police officer. The current laws for Death by Motor Vehicle are only a misdemeanor in the state of NC. Amanda Vanbuskirk then tested positive for methamphetamine (only lasts a couple days in the in blood /urine. ) and amphetamine ( meth metabolizes into amphetamine)however THE POLICE ARE ALLOWED TO DECIDE WHO IS IMPAIRED INSTEAD OF STATE CRIME LAB WHO DETERMINED METH IN HER SYSTEM. She is only serving 15 days for murder. So I purpose..
1 If there is a crash where one or more people die. Proper investigation protocols must be in place. A year later family and DAs office received photos and videos of the drugs that were reported by someone. If proper investigation protocols were in place then she would have been charged accordingly. Amanda had meth on her seat that came to light via pictures a year later. The meth. crack pipes. And needles are enough to haunt us forever. 2. If the crash wasnt caused by someone having a medical emergency the the accused party should face felony charges. If drugs are in the accused system and they are illegal or no script is provided then the charges should be increased accordingly. There should be better investigation protocols. Humans where adrenaline and emotions are involved should NOT be allowed to trump science. Please help get Tyler Justice. #LLTJ FOREVER 21
