Stop HB 187, this proposed bill will

Retail Sales of Smoking Pipes and Smoking Devices: Prohibits retail sales of specified smoking pipes & smoking devices; specifies criteria for lawful sales of such items; provides criminal penalty for unlawful sales of such items.

(2) The following smoking pipes and smoking devices are 29 subject to the provisions of this section: 30
(a) Metal, wooden, acrylic, glass, stone, plastic, or 31 ceramic smoking pipes, with or without screens, permanent 32 screens, or punctured metal bowls. 33
(b) Water pipes. 34
(c) Carburetion tubes and devices. 35
(d) Chamber pipes. 36
(e) Carburetor pipes. 37
(f) Electric pipes. 38
(g) Air-driven pipes. 39
(h) Chillums. 40
(i) Bongs. 41
(j) Ice pipes or chillers. 42
(3) Any person who violates this section commits a 43 misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 44 775.082 or s. 775.083. 45
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010."

This is bad for Floridians. It takes away our right to own a legal smoking device used for legal purposes. Head Shops and Pipe Shops will lose a lot of business. Eventually they will be forced to close their shops and let go of their employees. This will increase unemployment in Florida. More people will file for unemployment benefits and raise the taxes even more.  Further more it takes away our right to own a piece of glass, which many call an art. Tell our elected officials that you will not vote for them in the upcoming election in November if they vote yes to pass this outrages bill!

Don't lose your right to own a glass smoking pipe or water pipe!

Don't let our shops be forced to closed down from lack of revenue!
