St. Catherine's Park is a small public recreational amenity serving Leixlip and Lucan residents and wider communities.

A motorway will destroy the park

Air, Noise and Light pollution would damage the health of people who live nearby. The lovely playground and pathways would end up deserted as who wants to be exposed to the deadly fumes and noise from traffic?

An alternative route can be found. A tunnel under the park would provide a solution.
