The gay rights activists have been working for equality for just as long as the feminists and the supporters of racial equality. However they are one of the most commonly criticized groups even today.
Many say that their fight is over, but how could that be? They do not have the right to marry in every state, receive federal benefits, adopt children, or many other rights heterosexuals currently enjoy.
This is an issue that reminds us that it's still not okay to be gay.

Kidz Bop is a music company that makes currently popular songs kid friendly often by changing the lyrics.
However by taking the gay pride anthem "Born This Way" and censoring any mention of the LGBT community you are telling the world that kids should be protected from gays, That being gay is somehow bad, and that any mention of it being accepted or tolerated is unacceptable.

I am angry about this kind of censorship, the kind that tells people they are wrong for who and what they are. The kind that belittles same sex couples that are raising children, or children who are LGBT.

This kind of harassment and mockery of the community is unacceptable and nothing short of an immediate boycott until Kidz Bop retracts homophobic statements is acceptable.

Stand with the public and tell children and the nation that homophobia is not something we accept, nor tolerate being shoved onto kids.
