I would like to help solve the problem of making our schools more secure and safer place to learn. Schools should be a safe haven for kids to learn and prosper. It seems in today's world, sadly this is changing, forcing us to have to re-evaluate schools safety needs. I live in Manchester,TN and I would like to see our city and county schools add other levels of protection for us and future students. I think putting SRO's in all schools would be a great step in the right direction. Also, better secured entrances and maybe even plans for metal detectors at entrances in the near future. Make it so visitors have to call or buzz in from the outside while on security camera so they can be seen could even be a plan for the near future. Please help me bring this to the appropriate people's attention by signing this petition.
