Israel is currently on trial at the International Court of Justice for its horrifying genocide in Gaza since October 2023 - which has claimed over 30,000 Palestinian lives, including more than 12,000 children in just the first four months - and its 57-year illegal military occupation. 

The UN and several human rights organisations including Amnesty International have said that Israel is practising a brutal Apartheid and human rights violations against Palestinians.  

As football fans and people of conscience, we must remember that FIFA once took a stand against racial discrimination by suspending Apartheid South Africa in 1964 for 28 years.

We now call upon FIFA and UEFA to demonstrate similar courage and commitment towards upholding human rights by suspending Israel's membership until it complies with international law and allows Palestinians freedom and equality.
