We want to inform you about the progress of our petition.

We contacted our local (in Czech Republic and Slovakia) Kia / Hyundai headquarters and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (Nošovice) in the summer 2021 (with 800 signs). Last week we extended our petition with new models Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. Because both have problems with strong coldgating in the winter as well.

Today we have contacted the headquarters mentioned above and the manufacturing plant in Czech Republic for a status update about the summer petition. And of course we informed them about extending a petition with new models.

Seems that our position in Central Europe is harder :-/. If you would like to help us please contact your local service and inform them about your problem with coldgate. Winters in North/West Europe and Canada are stronger than here in Czech Republic or Slovakia. Hope this helps the manufacturers to understand the situation better.

Thanks for your help and hopefully we will have battery preconditioning soon as other electric cars already have.
