Were making this petition in order to enable companies to be fined for allowing their products to be littered, this has always had a substantial impact on the environment and our wildlife but now poses a further risk as the people using fast food chains and littering their rubbish could potentially be infected with the COVID 19 virus and therefore are putting our already strained waste removal teams further at risk. Fast food chains are completely non essential and therefore as a concerned citizen I dont believe they should be open for business regardless of the financial situation of the companies. We have job retention schemes in place which means that opening up fast food chains is just exasperating the strain on our nhs, careers and waste management teams who are completely essential during a time of not just a national but a global pandemic.

These staff are not receiving additional pay for their work but continue to put themselves and sadly their families at risk during this pandemic and it should be completely legal to fine companies who are opening early and having their products littered which could potentially have the covid 19 virus on them which can live up to 3 days.
