We do not support the privatization of our public land at the quiet end of Duval Street, aka the "Pocket Park."  The new site plan is a slap in the face to us all, residents & visitors.  It is not a park.  If the City wants a park there, then the City should do it.  A park has large shade trees, a few benches, and a play area for the kids.  A park is not a privately-run outside food court with 24 tables/78 chairs and amplified music.  That's called an outside restaurant.  This is a destructive precedent to set on Duval St. Keep the quiet end of Duval St. quiet and do not give away our public land to private interests!  Vote NO to this Land Grab.
