Sydney City Council spent $6.8 million on NYE 2014 to light up the night sky ! Melbourne City Council also spent millions. After 15 minutes our money (tax payers and every other invested Australian) was burnt gone in smoke. Would you like to see our money going towards sustaining our future supporting our farmers ? We can make this happen by requested/demanding as Australians that our local councils contribute half the money that is budgeted for this coming year 2018/2019 for the New years eve Fireworks to be donated to providing water tanks for the farmers. The farmers all pray for rain however because the ground is so dry it is absorbed instantly and the water is gone again. If we were able to provided water tanks this water will be captured and used to water livestock and vegetation. Please get behind me as an Australian and let's make a real difference that is going to last. I for one would like to see our taxes be reinvested to a worthy cause and on Australian soil.
