Connect Marvel's TV shows to the Movies, and make the interconnected universe an actuality

The Issue

When Agents of SHIELD was first announced, everyone got excited. Marvel would be making a TV show cannon to its movies after the crossover event of The Avengers, bringing back a beloved character. Since then we've seen more TV shows, such as Agent Carter, and the two Netflix exclusives Daredevil and Jessica Jones. However, it's starting to feel as if Marvel simply doesn't care about their shows and keeping everything connected. Recently, Chloe Bennet who plays Daisy/Skye on Agents of SHIELD called out Marvel saying that they don't care. Well, it seems as if she's right because Agent Carter was cancelled, Marvels Most Wanted, the SHIELD spinoff with two beloved characters, is not moving forward. Also, Agents of SHIELD season 4 was moved to the 10pm time slot, known as a slot where tv shows tend not to do so well. While viewers have been dropping for SHIELD this season, the show has only gotten better. Season 3 was amazing, with some of the best acting in the MCU period. Brett Dalton did an amazing job, and is one of the best villains in the MCU. It would be such a shame that Marvel is essentially giving the shows the finger. I understand that Kevin Feige has his own civil war going on at Marvel, but that shouldn't destroy the tv shows. The movies have to start at least mentioning the events of the tv show subtly, before introducing the characters to the big screen in Infinity War. In Season 3 of SHIELD there was a huge burst in the number of new Inhumans and accidents, and we got no mentions of it in Civil War. The Russo Brothers themselves even said they had no idea what was happening in the show. This has to stop, and we fans need to speak out to Marvel and get the whole "It's all connected" thing a reality. A simple mention of how "SHIELD is back in the shadows" or that Coulson is alive (honestly Tony Stark and Romanoff probably know this, and we know for sure Fury and Maria Hill do too, and most of the public has seen trailers for Shield to know he's back) would be sufficient for now. There's too many inconsistencies at this point, and the show is close to being de-canonized. Technically, the only confirmed confirmation of Canon outside of the shows we've seen is the subtle mention of events from Season 3 of SHIELD in the news lines of the Canon WHIHI News Network. We as fans need to ensure that the show gets the recognition it deserves, and get these amazing actors roles in the movies that they deserve.
