Butterball is where we get many of our holiday turkey meals. But do you truly know what happens to these animals? Turkeys are beaten, kicked, and thrown into vehicles by careless workers. Baby turkeys are separated from their shells brutally, thrown into metal conveyor belts. These helpless newborns are often mangled by machinery and killed brutally. Adult turkeys are dragged to the slaughterhouse by their fragile wings and necks. Mercy For Animals has done many investigations into the topic, but only a couple of lawsuits have been filed. Please, stand with me in making this change to stop the needless suffering of so many animals every year. If we get our way, these turkeys will be given human living conditions and clean deaths. If not, this cruelty will continue.  We want:

- Veterinary care for sick and injured turkeys 
- An end to the genetic manipulation of turkeys to promote unnatural weight gain
- Provision of clean sleeping areas, enrichment, and access to sunlight for turkeys
- Installation of cameras in all Butterball facilities, able to be accessed by the public
- An end to the cruel shackle slaughter method and adoption of a better, more humane system of killing.
