There is a dog located in Boron, CA, he lives his life on a chain, often out of food and water, and until yesterday no shelter from the elements. I personally have reached out to animal control in the area, and they seem unconcerned, and even flippant. I finally got a dispatcher at Kern County Sheriff's office to assure me he would get an officer out there last night if the neighbor called and stated the dog was still on the chain. The neighbor called, an officer went out, made the man provide a dog house, and left. This dog is living in horrible conditions and starving. This is absolutely animal cruelty, and supposedly the sheriff's department has responded now 5 times in 2 days, and yet the dog remains. Help me demand justice for this poor guy!
